 T H E   Y A R N
As my setup for hand-dyeing yarn is still in its infancy, I will only be running very small limited batches to begin with. This means that I may not offer more of some colours in future.
I try my best to capture the true likeness of each colour to ensure your purchase meets expectation. Please note however that every monitor/phone screen is different and therefore some colours may appear slightly different to what you see on your screen. 
 
C U S T O M   O R D E R S
For now, I am generally unable to fulfill custom orders as I am only dyeing outside of my usual ‘9-5’ working hours and therefore I would be limited to a rather long lead time for customs.
The quantities I have available for each yarn base will also be limited which makes offering custom orders difficult for the time being. 
However, please do reach out if you have any questions or requests and I will try my best – I am still refining my processes after all.

T H E   B A S E S
Most of my yarn bases are sourced from Wild Earth Yarns in Christchurch, NZ.
For Collection No.2 I will also have a 12ply Mohair available, sourced from Anna Gratton Ltd in Fielding, NZ.

Where I source my yarn from will be carefully considered to ensure it meets a high level of quality and ethical production standards. Where possible I will endeavour to source locally, however for some bases this may not be achievable. I will aim to provide provenance for all yarn bases I may use in future.
 
C A R E
Personally, I try to avoid washing knitted garments at all.
However, blocking your garments before use is always recommended. In this case, hand wash is always recommended for hand knitted items.
A gentle cool hand wash using specific wool wash ONLY is highly recommended (Eucalan is a firm favourite of mine), unless you like felting!
 
 
S H I P P I N G
I aim to ship all orders as soon as possible, usually within 1-2 days from receiving your order, depending on volume of orders received at one time.
 
Shipping to anywhere within New Zealand will be a flat rate of NZ$5.00 per order*. This includes rural addresses.
All orders are shipped via a courier service and tracking will be provided via email once your order has been fulfilled and is ready to ship. Delivery will normally take 1-2 business days depending on where in NZ you are located.
*For orders over NZ$100.00 shipping will be free!
 
Yes, I also ship internationally!
A flat rate of NZ$20.00 per order applies for all international orders*.
International orders will be shipped via an international economy courier service such as FedEx etc. Tracking will be provided via email once your order has been fulfilled and is ready to ship.
Delivery times will vary depending on destination.
Please note, any additional customs duties and taxes are to be paid by the recipient.
*For orders over NZ$150.00 shipping will be free!
 
 
R E T U R N S    &   R E F U N D S
If your yarn does not meet your expectations in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you are unhappy with your purchase, a full refund can be arranged provided this is done so within two weeks of having received your order. Please email glaux.co@gmail.com to arrange a return.
A ticket for return postage will be issued and the cost of return postage deducted from final refund.
A refund will be issued upon delivery of the returned product(s), on the condition that all returned yarn is in full, undamaged, clean & unused condition.
